If you are using any DAQ hardware, how are you getting the reading to a digital indicator. You were asked if you were using LabVIEW. If you aren't, why post here.
please check the diagram attached to my earlier post , it worked perfectly between a k-type thermocouple and NI ac. card. however I must say the temp. range in my application didnt exceed 200 .
It sounds as though you may be using a digital panel meter, which is essentially a voltmeter. Many of those have a 2 V range so 2078 mV seems quite reasonalble as the maximum possible value which your device can display. Check the specifications for your device.
