how to connect a Bruel & Kjaer accelerometer to CB-68LP which has only one terminal for connection?Hence the accelerometer cannot be grounded.This is urgent.Please help.

I am using RT series board, PCI-7030/6040E with CB-68LP connectors

Hello;

The accellerometer must be referenced to some gnd line, otherwise it can't give a valid voltage.

The first step is to identify that reference line. Once you have that, connect the accelerometer signal line to the ch+ input of the CB-68LP and the reference line to the ch- of it. Also, place a BIAS resistor in between ch- and AIGND.

Hope this helps.

is the reference line a wire connected to external ground and not the AO ground?the acclerometer has only 1 input line to be connected the ch+ of the CB68-LP
