how to create alarm system on VI

Hai, i'm current doing an alarm system using LV 8.6. together i attach a simple VI. how can i make a simple alarm system so that when the measured RMS value exceed any number that user can define, a beep sound will apear

Hi hafizzuddin,

what about a simple comparison function (greater than) followed by a case structure with a beep function? As easy as it is!

hi GerdW, i'm not really familiar with beep.vi app. i tried to do a simple VI as u guide earlier but i dont know how to connect the beep.vi. can u show some tips on the vi i attach.

Hi hafizzuddin,

I don't have LV at hand, so can't look at your VI...

But after reading the help (as linked above) you have nothing to wire. Default setting is to use system alert beep and ignoring frequency and duration...

Have you read that help text?

I would say i was "free" (which means "relaxing") didnt had anything to do apart from looking at the forum!!!!
