how to create welcome screen?

How to show a bmp file as the welcome screen using labview8 in windows XP, in the same manner as you open any software which shows a welcome/splash screen.

That suggested solution in that link is rather awful to me. What i've done is a small vi with a picture, a small tone out through transparancy and ofc a start of the main application through vi server. Add the main application as dynamic file when compiling and you've got all in one.

You can use "Windows run Transparently" option. Please find attached sample welcome screen vi use it as subvi.
