how to draw a line cursor on image display in LabVIEW

I am trying to add a line cursor on image display in LabVIEW. The line should be such that its length could be changed by expanding or shrinking the line. Kindly help folks.

add a line cursor?

That's not clear. Changing the cursor to a line won't allow you to draw lines.

image display?

What's an image display? The front panel? A Picture Control? An IMAQ image? Or anything that will draw a line?

So that is the goal? To change a line on the screen?

Please explain what the goal is. And maybe the purpose.
