how to edit columns in a saved spreadsheet

how do i connect this thing in the program. can you also tell me what this thing is called so i can look up help for this which would help me connecting this thing on the program.

i the dynamic data in to the wire coming out of the merging signal next to the write to measurement file and the dynamic data out to the signal of the write to measurement file. i ran the program and the excell file which got saved didnot have any data on it.

You would use it like in the image below. I don't know what you mean by 'what this thing is called'. All you have to do is open this on turn on Context Help. The only things in there are a Convert From Dynamic Data, Set Waveform Attribute, and a Convert to Dynamic Data.

the thing that i dont understand is that how do i connect the data wires into the dynamic data in and how should i connect the dynamic data out to the signal of the write to measurement file.

becuase the thing is the dynamic data in does not have anything where i can connect it to the wires merging before the write to measurement file.

Well, I thought the last image was pretty clear how the subVI should be used and where it should go. I don't know why you took all of the code out and stuck it in your VI instead of just using it as a subVI. Below is what you should be doing. You should also at some point clean up your wiring. The convention is for wires to go left to right and not right to left as you have them.

hey man. thanks alot. i have understood exactly how it should be, but the only problem is i think the 'assign name to dynamic data' thing you sent me looks kinda different than the picture of how the code should like that u just sent me. man if you could please send me the picture in the vi format so i can use that in my vi it ll be great. thanks alot

like you know how you have 'column name here' in the picture, i dont see it in the 'assign name to dynamic'  code.
