how to generate a single pulse using DAQmx

I need to generate a single pulse using DAQmx.  Several of the AO Voltage Generation example VIs use Waveform Buffer Generation (multi).vi.  This VI generates a +/- amplitude.  I want my pulse to go from zero to a positive amplitude.  How do I accomplish this?

What amplitude and what pulse width?

If you found an example with regeneration, to get a single waveform out, you can turn regeneration off and just do a single write.
