how to get out port.vi?

Hi, the system in my laptop is 64-bit and windows 7. I have installed LABVIEW 2012. Now I want to use out port.vi to send command to the motor driver(ULN 2003) though a usb-parallel adapter. However I can not find the out port.vi in the function platter. Could anyone help me with it? Thank you.

Those Port VI's are not supported on Windows Vista or later.  They were pretty much obsolete even before that.  Parallel ports are pretty much obsolete.

Just forget about trying to communicate with a motor through a parallel port.  You should look for modern hardware designed for driving a motor.

If the Parallell port shows up in MAX you should be able to communicate with if via VISA.
