how to interface NI ELVIS and labview

I am totally new to labview and NI ELVIS station and am trying to create a battery charger using both of them.  I have found tutorials for each separately but nothing that really explains how they work together.  Does anyone know of a good source for help on this?  Also the first thing I am trying to do in use my analog inputs/outputs on the NI ELVIS and get labview to measure the information as almost an additional multimeter.  Any help would be greatly appreciate!

Hi Dawn,

There are loads of great examples that show how LabVIEW and NI ELVIS are used together. The VIs for programming NI ELVIS should have been installed when you installed your ELVIS driver.

Take a look at these examples:

The examples "VoltsIn.vi" and "Digital Thermometer.vi" both show how to program ELVIS as a DMM in LabVIEW
