how to put x,y line in a cam live image that can change when i send x,y from serial

I am using usb cam , vision 8.5 , labview 8.0 or 8.2 .

i can get the x,y from the serial port and the cam live image.

i do not know how to make a x,y cross line in the live image.

i want some like this in the attachment

Under Vision Utilities is a menu called Overlay.  The vi you want is IMAQ Overlay Line.

i know but how to set the x,y if i want to get the x,y from other input like serial port
