@GerdW  I just used three items: 1) data plugin data storage 2) data plugin read.

I connect both of them

3) I used waveform graph.

I connect the O/P of 2) to 3).

Why would you connect a waveform graph to the reference output and not the Signals output?

Turn on Context Help and hover over that Read Channels Express VI.  You have several outputs from it and they all have different purposes.
