What do you mean by "saving to another device"? Are you referring to someone copying your VI (i.e., source code) and putting it onto a flash drive and stealing it? Any VI can be password-protected. This is described in the LabVIEW Help. Warning: If you forget the password then you are out of luck. You will not be able to recover the VI. Make sure you have an unlocked version saved someplace safe.
