Did you get my last answer to your question? The last few days i was trying to "debug" the code we were dealing with, being able to make a "hole in the water" literally Smiley Indifferent ....honestly i really dont mean to bug you about this especially when you are busy with your own life...i really feel bad...but did you have a chance to think of anything? I know you must be busy....

Hi madgreek,

I'm [still] having trouble understanding what's needed. Smiley Surprised  You seem to have at least two desired results in mind, a visual representation for the data (you want to see a Chart,) and some result that will assist subsequent "characterization".  We've already built a data-structure that identifies the voiced-segments present in the original signal, perhaps that array (along with the original signal data) is sufficient to allow the further processing you mention.  As of your last post, it looked like you had solved some wish to Chart data a certain way.

As I'm not seeing the result you're picturing, I'm afraid you'll need to spell it out for me.  Whether the result you desire is Charted or not, any "result" must exist as data.  At a minimum you should be able to give an example listing input-data with corresponding result-data.  Please include with the example, a precise description of how to derive each element of result-data from the given input-data.  If you will do that, then maybe I can assist you in using LabVIEW to achieve what you're picturing! Smiley Happy

Cheers!

Hi madgreek,

its hard to understand what i am trying to do

Well, I'm slow - so I'll apologize in advance for not understanding (now) what will seem simple later. Smiley Tongue

...however, maybe a really good description of what is needed will make the "how" more obvious.

again thank you for all your help and time...

You're welcome - just hope my participation hasn't discouraged someone else, who might actually have helped. Smiley Wink

Cheers!

madgreek,
I just hope you don't "beat yourself up" over this.  If you have a clear idea of what you want (and how it should be possible), I hope you'll have time to describe it and post back.  If your idea is somewhat vague about what's wanted, or how to achieve it, then I'm sure an attempt to precisely describe your idea, will help your own understanding.

please, no worries! Smiley Happy
