I don't know what code you're using but the attached VI works with my version of Outlook and doesn't have any pop-up messages. I downloaded it from somewhere a while ago but don't remember where it was from.

I have the same problem - XP/6.0.2/Outlook2000
anyone know if it's a security setting that can be changed? All my security settings are "high"

The problem is specific to the version and service pack of Outlook you are using. There is a discussion of the problem and possible solutions here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnaskdr/html/askgui04022002.asp

under Shutting Off Outlook Security Dialogs

It doesn't offer any (apparent) easy solutions. If you find one - please update this posting. I'll be curious . . .

Good luck

Another option is to have your vi send out emails without using Outlook. The LabVIEW Internet Developers Toolkit contains vis that connect directly to your smtp server to send emails. This eliminates the NEED to have Outlook, and its security "features". Could be a better solution.

Thanks Tim, after reading your link and its links I basically found out it's not possible... then I searched on Google and found this:

http://www.outlook4team.com/prredirect.asp?hp=http://www.express-soft.com/mailmate/clickyes.htmlπ=136&pr_b=0

QUOTE "Express ClickYes is a tiny program that sits in the System Tray and clicks the Yes button on behalf of you, when Outlook's Security Guard opens prompt dialog saying that a program is trying to send an email with Outlook or access its address book"

It's small, free, but I have yet to try it...
