Hi,
on Linux system there is a software, that can take a screenshot if you press a hotkey.
Then it uploads the image automatic to imageshack (or your favourite server) and returns the URL to the image.
The User can copy and paste the link to a forum.
What software can do that on windows systems automatic?
I think its useful to show a blockdiagram sometimes in discussions here. And the windows screengrabber can not upload to imageshack.

You can try the Code Capture Tool. It doesn't currently upload images to servers, but you can use it to get the image and then conveniently upload it here. To upload an image here, click the tree icon () when you edit a post.
Also, the CCT is open source, so theoretically you could modify it yourself to upload an image to a server and place the URL in the clipboard.

i am a beginner in LV, i have no idea how to enhance it.
In the current version it seems to be not better then the Windows screengrabber shipped with win7.
I am shure someone has invented the wheel for windows too.

so cct makes more than just a picture from the screen? Or should one always copy&paste the problematic block diagram to a new vi and upload it here.

You can use the CCT to create snippets, which are images that can be dragged into LV, which turns them back into code you can edit. There are links to videos in that page which demonstrate how to use it.

These forums do not require an image to already be hosted somewhere. If you click on the Insert/edit image icon (the tree), you get a dialog asking you where to get the image from. One of those options is to load it from your disk, which will upload it to the forums and place it in your post.
As has been previously mentioned, VI snippets are the preferred way to do this. Failing that, or if you need a screenshot, please use PNG format for LabVIEW code and screenshots. JPG is useful for photos, but not so good for line drawings (it gives them a fuzzy, out-of-focus look).
So all you really need is a way to make a screenshot and save it to your local disk. Any modern OS has that functionality built in. If you want to crop it before posting, there are a plethora of good, free image editors which will do that for you (Shotwell, Picasa, GIMP, Irfanview, ...), in addition to the image editors that come with your OS.

If you do this, the image is automatically uploaded into your image library. But you can never go to try to clean out your image library if you so desire. If you do, you wind up breaking the link in your post that points to the image, and anyone who looks at your message in the future will just see a red X box.
It is better to add your image file (including a .png which is actually a code snippet) to your message. Post the mesage, then edit the message and use the input picture function with the 3rd tab to point to the image as it is located on the Discussion Forum web site. If you right click the path to the image after you posted it, the properties dialog will show you the path to the uploaded image file. Copy that, then you can paste it to the insert image dialog box.
