how to use complex numbers in Speedy 33

hi all,

sorry for taking your time, perhaps it is obvious but I could not see how I could use/represent complex numbers in LV when the Speedy – 33 is the target? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hi Casiopea,

There is a great KnowledgeBase that discusses the Numeric Data Types that are supported by the Speedy 33 and unfortunately complex numbers are not one of them.  Sorry about this inconvenience.  If you feel like that the Speedy 33 should be able to handle complex numbers you can submit a product suggestion here.

thanks so much for your reply, and I ll do as you suggest. Yes, it would be alot easier to hadle DSP applications like building other filtering applications from scratch on a real DSP board (e.g., Speedy 33).. That way the users, say students, would be able to grasp some of the concepts easily..
