image back round removal

Dear Friends,

I have few green colour citrus fruits images  taken over the conveyor belt which is of blue colour. Now i need to extract the friut image with original colour and the back round blue conveyor belt has to be removed. I tried a lot but i couldn't finish it successfully....

My project is find the hue value of each citrus fruits and need to segregate the fruit based on hue value.. for that i need to get the green colour citrus fruits extracted  from the image.....

I hereby attached few image samples  and please help me out; i am looking for good response from you people...

I hereby attaching the vi which i have designed....Please go through and reply me.... This vi works good for the  file 1.bmp attached..... Now i am looking to change over to my previous file attacehd in my last  post...

IMAQ is not currently working on my labview. so I am sorry I cannot help you fully.

I did go through your vi. I noticed some discrepencies

1)1.jpg has higher resolution, I think you would need a lower threshold for your other images

2)You have created the image as U32 types but the IMAQ reject border only accepts U8 types.

Pardon me if I am wrong, I will try to get hold of IMAQ.

Meanwhile someone more knowledgeable can guide you...
