Hello,
we are working with PCIe-1429 IMAQ board, and we purchased Vision Acquisition software with it. So everything works fine on the PC where the board is installed, and there is a palette with all the vi's: ImaqInit.vi, ImaqSerialWrite.vi and all others. But on another computer, where there is no hardware, I have both LabView 8.6 and Ni IMAQ and I can't see these vi's.
Stupid question - do they only appear if hardware is recognized? Is there any way I can work on the PC without the board -like simulate the camera somehow?...
Thanks for any tips.

Either you have the wrong version of Vision Acquisition Software Installed or you didnt check the LabVIEW Support on the machine where the palette doesn't show up in LV.
