Hi k11,

Are you using LabVIEW or any of our vision specific software programs? The camera should be listed under NI-IMAQ Devices under the Devices and Interfaces tab of Measurement and Automation Explorer. Can you see the camera and acquire images there?

Yes. I am using LabVIEW. I can see .icd file for Dalsa PT-41-04M60 in the National Instruments/data folder. But i cannot find Dalsa PT-21-04M30 .icd file. I tried choosing the base and med configuration files of Dalsa PT-41-04M60 and changed the camera attributes to match PT-21-04M30 (which is 30fps), but have not been able to connect to the camera or take pictures. Which is why i thought i may have to caliberate/configure the camera using InstaCal (maybe i am wrong). Please let me know if i am missing out on anything.

Hi k11,

I'm very sorry for the delayed response. Are you still having trouble with this issue? The camera file for your camera can be found onn our FTP camera file site: ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/imaq/camera_support/camera_files/digital/

Try importing the camera file from this site and place it according to the instructions in the Where Do I Place My Camera File Once I Download It? document.

Thanks,

Hello Matt,

I spoke with Graftek people, they gave me the right .icd file (which may have been an issue) and i have things working. Thanks for checking.
