instrument control

Hi Everyone,

I have DSOX3014A Oscilloscope and  33521AQ Function / Arbitrary Waveform GeneratorI installed drivers, devices are connected to computer.When ı open example program and run, program takes first value from devices and devices stop. I can't change freq. or ampl. . I have to restart my devices ?

What should ı do ? What do you suggest me ?

The first thing is don't start a second thread on a problem you are already discussing. Have you followed that advice yet? Have you written any code yet?

Sir i watched several tutorials about instrument control. A lesson instructor made a simple program. When i was making same program,this problem happened. I try fixing the problem but i can't ? Also it is not the same problem,this time when i read data from devices(osilloscope, generat) on my computer, devices are not working.

They aren't working how? You just said you can read read the devices.

I run the program and  computer takes data from osilloscope and generator. After that my osilloscope and generator frozen, i can't change freq or amplit... my both devices.

That is normal and explained in the manuals. The instruments go into remote mode and a light or text 'rem' should show on the instrument panel. Click the Local button on the instrument or issue a GTL (Go To Local) command in the program.

Yes i read the manuals sir. I click the local button but it wasn't working.I can't change device's values

Is the program running? I've never seen an instrument not respond to the local button. Check with the vendor.

Yes sir, program is running when this problem happen.
