instrument io assistant: pass values

Hello
I'm using the Intrument IO assistant to configure some intruments. I would like to know, if its possible to "pass" values to this IO assistant, in order to configure the intrument according to parameters obtained from the main VI

This is a feature requested quite often with the Instrument I/O Assistant, and will be available in a future release of the Assistant. Currently, there is not a way to do this through the Assistant. However you can take the generated VI as a starting point and modify the code yourself so that the VI takes inputs as variables.
