I have recently downloaded thermotron labview examples to communicate with my environmental chamber over TCP/IP. I ensured that the chamber and my labview computer are on the same network by pinging each system and ensure that they are visible in my network explorer. When I tried to run the thermotron example which requires that I simply input the target ip address and port number, I receive the dreaded "0xBFFF0011, Insufficient location information or the request device or resource is not available". I tried multiple things to correct this. I reinstalled VISA driver and even have gone as far as removing and reinstalling Labview 7.1 and yet I still have not had any success.
I took the same demonstration VI's and place them on another system running Labview 7.1. Everything worked fine. I did not configure anything in the new system. I simply dropped the files in the appropriate directories and off I went. Does anyone has any ideas what the issue could be? I have already spend more time than I'd like to admit, trying to resolve the issue.
