inverter + "continue if true" vs "stop if true"

I've noticed that a few programs (including those in the NI examples) use a boolean invert right before a "continue if true" to terminate a while loop instead of using a "stop if true".

As far as program flow goes, they are the same, but I wonder if there is any other difference between the two.

The only difference is the age of the VI. The "Stop if True" functionality is a fairly recent addition.
