Did you mean:

keithley

What doubts do you have about the Keithley? You don't think it is going to work?

Or do you actually mean you have questions about the Keithley?

Your best bet is to download the Keithley drivers.  They might have some example programs.  Or read its communication manual to determine what you need to do to interface with it.  If you are unfamiliar with LabVIEW, you can take the tutorials here:

LabVIEW Introduction Course - Three Hours
LabVIEW Introduction Course - Six Hours

I don't know what you mean by "model an electronics device e.g. diode, cmos".  A keithley instrument is used to measure things, not model them.

Why would you hijack an old and unrelated thread?

I'm assuming that you are going to use the driver from Keithley. The examples would be included in the driver as well as most of the documentation. Check their web site to see if they have anything else. The main source of information should be the instrument manual. For generic information on instrument drivers in LabVIEW, look at the links on the main instrument driver network

I mean by 'modeling of an electronic device' that we connect elestronic device such as diode, cmos to keithley (2636 in my case) and then using labview I have to find out its characteristics such as I-V characteristics.

So kindly give me some tutorial that can help in this field.

Here

Keithley provides the software you are asking about.  Also they have several great app notices that will guide you through their product offering.

OH KEITHLEY.... LeCroy trolls the forum and responds... hint

As already mentioned, all of the details on the instrument are in the manual and on Keithley's web site. Once you master the instrument itself and doing manual tests, the use of LabVIEW is pretty trivial.

Dear Sir,

I have to complete this task in a very short period of time.

So I seek your help how I can  run keithley 2636 using LabVIEW.

Kindly give me idea so that I can do it quickly..

How would you use the Keithley it if you weren't using LabVIEW?

Once you know that, then you can look up in the manual for the appropriate commands to tell it so that it will programmatically do what you would do manually.

And in case you missed it, here is the location of the driver, release notes, app notes, etc. You've already been given the link to how to use a driver in LabVIEW.

If you are using a GPIB connection, then the documentation that came with the card (assuming an NI card), would walk you through the installation and testing of that.
