Is this actual? Can I download labview 6.1 for linux from this link and use it without any key? Is this in low? (Russian Federation)

Yes, that's real. Keep in mind that's the German version. Of course, it goes without saying that 6.1 is VERY old.

Thank You very much.
What is You mean about German version? Language of this: ftp://ftp.heise.de/pub/ct/spezial/labviewlinux.zip
is english.
Is there anywhere (website ni.kom for example) a public letter on the legality of the free use of this software?

OK, it looks like the installation instructions are in German, but the actual software is the English edition.
I do not know of any public letter being available, but it was a special distribution that NI did with that magazine at that time. The licensing restriction is that it's for personal use only, NOT for commercial use. You can contact NI directly for more information. Assuming someone is still around that remembers the whole deal.

Officially, NI software is only legitimate through National Instruments and NI.com. However, we no longer distribute LV 6.1. Please visit our website to learn more about the versions currently available.
Thank you for checking!

Are you saying then that what that magazine did was illegal? Do you have any information on what that was all about? Officially? This has come up before, and several regulars have pointed people to that distribution since it seemed to be legit.

It's doubtful, but it will require some digging to find out for sure. We've used distributors and had special promotions in the past, but these days the majority of our products are sold exclusively through our direct sales channel. To ensure that your purchase is legitamite and legal, purchase on ni.com or contact your local NI sales office to place an order.

Can You say (and show the document), that it was the special promotion or it is not legal today? That's all. I'm not sure that my local NI office know about promotions in Germany in 200...

I did some digging. It was completely legal and approved by our branch in Germany. However, it is approved only for use in Germany.
