My LabVIEW 8.0.1 also crashes randomly in Windows XP.
It doesn't matter wether I'm developing, the program is running or the application is used.
I am opening tables and showing them on the Frontpanel from a diagnostics software and then it usually crashes.
When I show the tables in a spredsheet-string or a multicolumn listbox the program keeps on going for longer, but after a while it also crashes (or not).
The problem is, sometimes it crashes with the first table I open, or after the fifth or tenth table, sometimes when I close the prog, but sometimes it doesn't crash at all.
The report doesn't give me a hint, all it contains are the names of my dlls and their versionsnumbers ect., all the junk nobody needs.
Does anybody have a clue about why that happens or what I could do against it?
Thank you!

Have you noticed performance (speed) reduction with your PC lately?
If so, do a thorough virus scan and look for a trojan.
Similar issue happened to me about 2 or 3 months ago. Fortunately, I had a backup image of my C: drive, which restored everything. There was a nasty trojan which affected the performance of the PC and caused crashes of Labview and other programs.
