No. If you searched the forums, you would have discovered numerous threads discussing transferring files between different versions.
You have to open the VI in LV 8.5 (or even 8.6) and do a Save for Previous Version, to save back to 8.0.
If you don't have LV 8.5, and there aren't too many files and not too large, you can attach them to your message and ask someone to kindly save them back for you.
