removing SMP did not solve the problem...
i'm attaching below a print-screen from MAX of all the software i installed on my target (after smp was removed).
i have an idea for a workaround:
we need to buy another network adapter (i intended it for my host, for a p2p connection with the target)- maybe you could recomment one that is available and that is known to work well with over 2GB memory, i'll put it on the target and the problematic one on the host.

Hey Avner.
I was hoping to take this discussion off the message board, at least until we figure out exactly why this is "still" occurring. I would like to do some additional debugging with you, and felt the message board was not the best place to do it - once we're done, we can post the results on this message board.
I sent you a private message last week, which I see you haven't yet read - could you please check your private messages?
To check private messages, just click on your username in the status bar next to: "avner : Sign Out - My Settings - Help" at the top of the screen (in the blue bar). That takes you to the status screen, and at least for me in the bottom-left of the status screen is your private messages.

Just for the sake of answering this old problem (which by the way I experienced).
If you install using the updated USB stick, it will install the updated drivers just for the safe environment. Once you select MAX and you try installing Labview RT 2011 + Veristand RT Engine 2011 it will overwrite everything with the real system, including old 2011 network drivers. The new drivers are available for software install through MAX on the RT target only if you have LV+Veristand 2012 installed, luckily we have a machine with both 2011 and 2012 suite installed, that way you can install 2011 LV RT + Veristand system and updated 2012 network drivers on your target.
