Hey All,
I've been working on Labvoew for little over an year now. I want to prepare for the Certified LABVIEW Associate Developer(CLAD) Exam.I looked for some help on the Forum and found material that some people claim is Outdated. Like in http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/4261 . The information on the Forum is from 2006.
I was wondering where I can find the Updated preperation material and if the test pattern is changed or something? Is there any other test before the CLAD that I have to take ?
Thanks
Vamshi

The material you found on that page, as well as the information on this page is what's available. I've never taken the exam myself, but from what I've heard it's fairly easy, though I'm sure that's a relative assessment.

Hello vamsi539,
I have reviewed the preparation material that has been linked, and the PDF guide closely follows the structure of the course. The 'out of date' comment that has been mentioned refers to a small subsection in terms of using Datasocket and TCP/UDP communication.
The Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer exam has been designed to be taken by users that have taken LabVIEW Basics 1 and 2 and have approximately 6 months to a year's experience in using LabVIEW regularly. As an NI Application Engineer, I have recently reviewed these two courses, and they do not heavily cover Datasocket and TCP/UDP communication. Therefore, the Exam guide online is not relatively lacking in the topics in the CLAD exam.
The test is a multiple choice exam to be taken at a Pearson Vue center.
