I dont know why, but every time I go to create a new library in LabVIEW, I can save the library name, then when I open the library to go and add files to the empty library, it is crashing LabVIEW....it is happening every time. Getting really frustrated here! I also noticed that I can no longer add files to the library from the project viewer library icon, I have to open the library to add files to it, otherwise I get a popup about adding this file will create a conflict, I dont remember getting that before.
Is it a bug in my system, or a bug in LabVIEW?

Hi stormchaser373,
- Which version of LabVIEW you are using?
- Is that 32 bit or 64 bit?
- Which OS is installed?

It is LabVIEW 2012 32 bit, running on Windows 7 64 bit.

stormchaser373,
Why don't you repair LabVIEW?

Did you try deleting LabVIEW.ini file?

Thanks for the suggestions TailOfGon...no I have not, I will try it out. Currently I am installing LV 2012 SP1 will see if that does anything first then will try your suggestion.

ok, I deleted the ini file, and tried and it is still crashing, also after installing the SP1 update....I had a hunch and created a fresh project to test with, created a new library, and then created a dummy file outside of the library, opened the library to add the file into the library and it worked fine. so it seems like its something specific to the current project I am working in? I have no idea where to look. is there an INI file for the project that I can delete that can be rebuilt? I cant restart this project from scratch as I am 3/4 of the way through it and nearing a deadline.
