labview image cropping

Hi,

I wanted to know which VI would allow image cropping in labView.  I've tried the extract tetragon VI but I am not obtaining a recognizable region of interest or subimage.

Thank you.

Ok, so the image is being cropped correctly...however, I'm performing a machine vision operation on the image later in the VI I'm making, and the machine vision is not recognizing the cropped image at all.  Is there any reason why this is happening?  Is there any way to avoid it?

Thanks

Hello ShallowWaters,

Without further information about what is going on, it will be hard for anyone to help. After the crop, does the image appear correctly? What is the machine vision operation, and how is the result different from the result prior to the crop? Was the machine vision operation working before? Can you post a screenshot of the code in question?

Thanks,

I do this almost daily. I use an imaging sdk found on the internet which can crop images found on the internet . Install it and it becomes a selectable processing option. Then you can crop images in any program at all, including Adobe Acrobat . Just open the images, select crop ,and follow the setps given in the sdk, the task will be finished in several seconds. if you haven't found a good choice , you can have a try. best wishes.
