labview mydaq error

I have a question about an error im getting when placing a daq assistant in labview. Whenever i place a daq assistant it initializes, but when the window pops up where you choose to acquire or generate a signal a message pops up saying "AF_NiAssistant has stopped working."  Has anyone experienced this type of error before? And if so, could you help me fix it?  Also, if this helps my license manager doesnt work either. Every time i start it up it says it stopped working and closes.

It sounds like you may need to either repair or reinstall LabVIEW onto your computer

Ive already completely removed all ni software from my pc and reinstalled it but i get the same error everytime. If this is relevant the labview is the 32 bit version but im running a 64 bit windows 7. Is there a certain version i should download?

Hi Nico,

Can you please post a screenshot of the error? It may be a bad install of DAQmx, and if you used the same installer to reinstall DAQmx and are seeing the same issue maybe your media is corrupt.

What version of DAQmx and LaBVIEW are you using? I would try uninstalling DAQmx and then downloading and installing the latest version of DAQmx from our website.
