labview terminal emulation

 i am writting this to know if someones knows if there is any possibility to change labview tarminal emulator from vt100 to TTY...

CAN I DO IT?

It is some version out on the VT100 terminal program example. Which one do you use any link. Also what functions do you want from the TTY. Just type in letters and send each letter to the serial port. Kind of like what the hyperterm program do?

What VT100 terminal emulation? I don't know of any LabVIEW program that emulates the VT100.

What TTY format?

HI EVERY BODY, I HAVE NOT BEEN HERE FROM FRIDAY...

well what i want is to read a serial port using labview,

to make some tests i use the hyperterminal and i change the configuration of it to TTY EMULATION, and i don't know how to do it in labview....

can you help me?

There are no terminal emulation modes in the VISA serial functions. Try one of the examples and see what happens.
