labview2018 DAQmx library

Hello everyone,

I recently installed labview2018 on my new system, but somehow I realize that it doesn't contain libraries such as IMAQ and DAQmx, therefore, the VI used to run on my old system (labview2014) can't run on the new system. Do labview 2018 provide VI libs for these or I need to manually copy paste from the old system?

Thanks.

Hi utoct,

did you install those device drivers after you installed LabVIEW?

Best regards,

Yes. But it seems like NI doesn't have DAQmx application development support for labview2018.

Sure it does!  It's part of the Driver set.  It installed on my PC ...

Does it show up in labview functions?

Yes.  It shows up under Measurement I/O >> DAQmx just like it did in earlier versions of LabVIEW.

Which version of labview and NImax did you install? I installed NI MAX 18.0.1, it doesn't have labview support, but I found that in NI Max 17.6.

You don't install NI-MAX, you install NI-DAQmx which will install MAX with it.  It is version 18.0  or higher

I installed NI-DAQmx 18.1 after I installed labview2018. But I still don't have DAQ functions in labview.

Check to make sure support for LabVIEW 18 is checked when you install the device drivers.  It should be on by default, but perhaps for some reason it was unchecked.
