laptop resolution

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions.

I think I am probably going to look for a nice core 2 duo laptop, something around 15" screen for portability reasons, with a native resolution of 1280x800 so that all my VIs fit in one screen nicely (no scrolling if possible!). Also, a dual output so that I can connect a 19 or 21" LCD for when I am at home.

Now I just need to find this for under £600!!

Thanks again.
Neil

desktop replacement get a 17". otherwise if it's going to be something you carry around quite often and not wanting to use extreme graphics for, get a 15.4"

//EDIT: my 15.4" laptop with a 256mb x1400 graphics card has resolution of 1680x1050. my sister with a 14.1" with integrated graphics has 1440x900

I bet LV running at 1440x900 on a 14.1" is quite unbearable? I have found that even 1600x1200 on a 19" CRT the fonts are a bit too small. Also, I am running linux, and LV really does not look great at that resolution!
