limit exceeded dsc

What does a tag quality  'Limit exceeded : High Limited' / 'Limit exceeded : Low Limited' shown in the Tag monitor mean ? Which limit has exceeded ?
It is shown at tags which are inputs from a Twincat OPC server. I dont use the DSC Alarms and the values are still updated but this Quality is shown at all my analog inputs. What does it mean ?

I think it just means that the tag's value is above or below its 'Full Scale' or 'Zero Scale' settings (as configured in the TCE on the "Scaling" tab for the tag).

Can be meaningful or meaningless depending on the way you're using those settings.

The point is that i dont use scaling. Or do the parameters  "Full Scale" / "Zero Scale" have any effect when scale type is set to <none> ?

Even if you don't use scaling and don't change anything on the "Scaling" tab, there are default values for 'Zero' and 'Full Scale' (0 and 100).   If scaling is set to <none>, their only effect (as far as I can tell) is setting the limits for the quality message you're asking about.
