making the x scale on a waveform chart eastern standard time

I am looking for a way to make the x-axis scale of a waveform chart eastern standard time.  I can not get the scale to read the time in the time zone I want when I select absolute or relative time.  I am sure that I am overlooking something simple.  I am unsure where to select the time zone I am looking for.  The eventual use of this chart will be a paperless data aquisition system that will show the data value in the
y-axis and the time the data was recorded in the x-axis.  Thanks for any help anyone can give.

You could use an XY graph and wire the correct time values to the X-axis.

Cheers!

What time does it display, how are you getting the timestamp, and how are you providing the timestamp to the chart? Have you looked at the shipping example called Real-Time Chart?

Hi Nmayo,

Thank your for contacting National Instruments.  Dennis provided an excellent idea.  I would suggest taking a look at that shipping example.  I believe that accomplishes what you are trying to do.

Let us know if you any further questions!
