many LV compatibility questions!!

hi all,

i've been asking many compatibility questions lately, i hope this is my last one on this isses 🙂

my HW/SW is as follows:

1. Sun server with solaris 8 on an UltraSPARC IIi processor. LV web page states that LV for solaris runs on Solaris 2 with SPARCStations... would LV for Solaris run on the above sun machine?

2. Windows embedded based PCs with preinstalled XP embedded (this can change to win NT wks but not recomended by the HW provided due to silicon disk wear out issues). i've recieved an answer that NI doesnot (officially) support LV on XPe, i've installed and tested LV on XP professional and its running, would that be happen on XPe?

Regarding the UltraSparc server, there are three ways to find out: try it, ask NI, and try it anyway.

With regards to XPe, I doubt that anyone has tried it. Perhaps you should try it, and let us know what happens. My guess is that you can probably deploy an application on XPe, but that you cannot develop.

just tried to run an executable using runtime 7.1 ( I know, we need to update) and it does not run on XPe, but does run perfectly on XP.
