matlab script slowing down construction

I have a Matlab script in my VI.  Everytime the file is saved or autosaved, the VI closes and opens Matlab.
Even when I simply add a new control or something, Matlab is closed and reopened.
Before, i have built the whole VI and added the matlab script last to avoid this.  Is there something i am doing wrong?

I have never seen this happen.  Can you develop your code without having Matlab open?  Is Matlab using the script an the same time? 

Does this happen whenever you use the Mathscript Node or is it just with this Matlab Script?  Does this happen on more than one machine?

I have only tried this on one computer.  I will try a few things and report back.  The problem is intermittent as i just tried to run a few things and could not reproduce it.  It has plagued me on a large number of occasion though.  I will do some more reports and get back.  I am using matlab just for the plotting feature.  i drop data into a matlab scrip and use its plotting capabilities.

This has been reported as a Corrective Action Request (ID# 3VMB5KTQ)

R&D is currently investigating this issue.

The only workaround for now I guess is continuing to work by adding the script node last.
