matlab with vision

hey i am bak with some more quirires and qusetions =((

i am trying to import the matlab codes for the image to be converted to rgb,binary,hsl and grey..bt when ever i innput an image the output is a pure blak image.kindly help me out.i am posting ma vi too.

Could be a problem in passing the datatypes and how this "other software" is handling that.

Don't you have the NI Vision Development System to do this?

i am importing the matlab codes..no i am not using the vision dev systems.basically loading an image from the memory and then working on it by using matlab..kindly tell me the way out,plz give me a block diagram too.

In the VI you attached, the array is not wired from the script node to the "IMAQ ArrayToColorImage" VI.  What happens when the 'H' array is wired?

hey,i have modified the program and getting the output for the conversion in to grey,rgb and hue image but when i try the same vi to get the output picture of the binary image it gives an error that unable to pass the the variable =(((..i am attachin the vi too.i have given the input image of a car and then applied the image proessing techniques..plzz tell me some way out...also u can see in the picture attached below that the output comes out to be in yellow color.i used the flattend/unflattened pic tp pix map vi too but still it givs a black screen...kndly tell me a way out.

need serious help

can u tell me a way out so that:

1)i can detect all the horiaontal edges in the image without giving the ROI manually???

 

2) and then out of all those horizonatl edges how can i extract the first and the second widest horizontal line(max and the 2nd max horizontal edge)..

 

3)also after extracting those max edges how to calculate their co-ordinates for the ceopping of that image..

 

plzz do reply..

I can't help you do this in a text based language but we do have vision software that can do what you need.  We also have the Machine Vision forum.

 

 

Text based programming isn't a strength of mine, sorry.
