Hi Bhaskar,

I believe that I will need some additional information to help you out.  First, please take a look at the following KnowledgeBase [link removed; article no longer available] which may help resolve the issue.  The error describe in that KnowledgeBase occurs when the script server cannot be initialized.  If this does not help, can you please take a look at this KnowledgeBase [link removed; article no longer available] and post this information along with a screen shot of the error that you are receiving?

Best of luck on your application, and have a wonderful day!!

Hi everybody,

I have the same problem when trying to launch MatrixX 71.6. I receive an "Xmath" license error telling me to make sure that I'm referring to the right host (by seeing LM_LICENSE_FILE). Moreover, it gives me the FLEXlm error -96,7 and the System Error: 11001 "WinSock: Host not found".

I read the FLEXlm user manual. It tells me that the -96 error is "Server node is down or not responding. See the system administrator about starting the server, or
make sure that you’re referring to the right host (see LM_LICENSE_FILE)". I tryed to create an environment varialble called "LM_LICENSE_FILE" setting its value to the license path but Matrixx still does not work.

Best regards
