Hai,

I can't see any picture in your post. Maybe you forgot to attach or my browser problem. Ok comeback to the point. Are you trying LV8.6.1? see this thread.

Hi mathan,

I suppose I have also the same problem. I am installing LabVIEW 8.6.1. I also uninstalled all the national instruments programs in my pc and still I get the same error. I'm still puzzled on how to make this thing work.

Hope it helps.

This sounds very similar to the threat mathan referenced. Are you installing 8.6 or 8.6.1 and what versions of software did you have on your machine before?  I would definitely keep an eye on that thread and I am going to wait to see what that engineer finds on that issue, but more information is always useful.

Hi,

I have already made the installer working.

What I did is I just deleted all the registry values that has a "National Instruments" string in it using the Registry Editor in windows.

Most probably it is the registry entries that are causing the "memory could not be read" error. They might be looking for the particular files that were already uninstalled or deleted.

So by removing the registry entries that looks on the specific path which are already deleted on the hard drive, I saw that the LabVIEW installer just went well.

Thanks for the help guys!
