OS = MicroSoft Server 2003 R2 Service Pack 2; Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express installed; Labview 7.1 with DSC, Database connectivity and IA OPC modules installed; The Labview program reads from an Allen Bradley PLC using RSLinx and LV DSC tags and then writes to a database setup using the ODBC setup window and SQL Server Management Studio Express.
This setup was running before, once the MS Server 2003 'DEP' security was configured to allow Labview to run. Unfortunately the name of the computer had to get changed after which I would get the following service error message that popped up after rebooting the computer: 'At least one service or driver failed during system startup. Using the Event Viewer to examine the error log for details', which I did and see two MSSQL$CITADEL (=source) errors (see attachment for pictures of error messages).
I was able to connect to the Citadel database before in SQL Server Management Studio Express before, but now cannot. My hunch is that somehow the computer name change is causing this but I have not been able to find a Citadel, DSC or other point where I can make the necessary configuration changes/updates. I have already tried reinstalling just the DSC module and when that didn't fix the problem, tried reinstalling the whole Labview installation, which also didn't fix the problem. Any help/ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
