multiple LabVIEW versions

I started off with LabVIEW 7.0 now I am using LabVIEW 8.2, I no longer  use the previous versions.   Can someone else use those earlier versions besides me or are they all  still tied to one user?

There is a way to transfer the license. You should talk to your local NI office for the exact details.

If you upgrade your version, the old licence numbver, canot be separate from the upgrade.
If you purchase a completely new version, You just pay too much, because it's cheaper to upgrade that to buy a new one.

I did upgrade through a SSP.  If I am not using one of the older versions it seems someone else should be allowed to use it.

I guess I need to contact NI Sales to clear this up for me.

I'm sure that you are not able to transfert that licence because you upgrade it.

Benoit,
You are correct.  I just contacted NI and they say it is against the licensing agreement.
