This is a trivial question but one that i've been unable to figure out!
When adding text labels to block diagrams, How do you create multiple line labels?
I'm just looking to add a note on the block diagram to remind me of tasks that need completing. I'd like to add a note to the diagram that contains multiple line items. However, I am only able to create text on a single line. I 've seen multiple lined notes but have been unable to recreate them.

You probably have the "End text entry with Enter key" option set in your LabVIEW options (in the Environment category). In this case you have to hold down the Control key when you press Enter to get a new line. Or, you could just turn off that option. Remember that you can always resize the comment.

I looked at my options and I dont have that option selected. I also tried using cntrl + enter and it didnt give me a new line, it just exited my label.

I got it to work if I turned on that option and then the cntrl + enter did give me a new line.
Thanks

If you don't have that option set then holding the Shift key will enter a new line. Do you have a non-standard keyboard and/or keyboard layout? Which Enter key are you pressing on the keyboard. If you have a numeric keypad there's 2 of them, and they're not the same, even though they're both labeled "Enter".
