the prob im having is that when i go to choose a menu in the scope   ie   trigger  edge     source    the menu can not be scrolled thrue via the   scroll knob (like the real agilent 54622d scope)  or clicked on to choose a option thus rendering the scope rather usless in dc cupoling all the time and making the ext trigger   unusable.

Hi, the manual used to be on that former website, we are still in the process of migrating all the content from the former website to the NI website. Most of that content can be found in the Technical Library http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/5579 however, those manuals will no longer be hosted on our websites.

The knob selection got broken on the release for list menu selections, it has been taken care of and will be fixed on the first major update that we will make available at the end of the summer.

maby i wasnt clear  there is no posable way to choose a selection   knob or otherwise  the scope is only 5% working if that.   


without the menu selection nearly everything is inaccessabel.



by disabled  i mean there is no way to choose another option in the list  in any and all lists .


i am amased it takes that long to push such a simple fix  having programmed with opensource software before   a working before freature broken shuld be top priorty when it breaks so much  and  shuldnt take more than 15-60min to fix .


i think my electronic design software  would be best invested in a opensource soultion with fast support  and bug fixes. gEDA i think can be used for everything we did in mutisim  if not its not as thow we cant add what we need on to it beaing opensource.

nother prob textronics 4 channal scope     ac only centers the waveform    as soon as the voltage bias is changed it reacts more like dc  rather than holding it center

seriously have you guys accualy used this verson of software before you released it
?

I believe then I am misunderstanding. I know there is a problem with the selection menus that pop-up a list on the screen of the instrument and that with the mouse you select the option.

The selection knob works. You have to click on the softkey below the menu or option that you want to change that is displayed on the screen of the scope, the softkey is the row of small buttons below the screen, click on the one you want to change and then move the selection knob.

start a new project

drop the agilant 54622d oscope on the page

double click on it

push power on it to turn it on

click channal 1  once to go in to its options

click the couppuling soft key and choose ac or ground by clicking on it   or try spinning the selctor knob

nothing will work there is no way to choose a diffrant option it will awase go back to dc



this happens for the 2   8 channal  channals     and any other time you have  a list of options to choose

for the digital annolyser channals  you can not change any settings on any of them  because you can only choose and work with the first of each group of 8     and not choose most settings in there ither


mode coupuling  and the channal selecton for  trigger is also usless and cant be chosen  caused by the same problem


if you still cant reproduce it with the above given  then i can record a video in vmware and post it     compressed it wont be more than 200kb for a recording of all the above

mutisim is not the first place i have used this scope     i have use the exact modal in real life so i know how to run it   and have a genral idea of how the soft scope would be limited in comparason      this is not working as intended
