Hi
I am trying to install ni_imaq_usb_installer_86.exe , it keeps on giving me error saying that I need to have 7.1 or higher version(see the image) but I already have 8.6. So what do I do??
Thanks.

Hi Dhaliwal,
I believe there is a known issue with the NI-IMAQ for USB driver. It checks to see if NI Vision is installed. When you say you have 8.6, do you mean LabVIEW only or do you have the Vision Development Module as well? You may be able to try the following as a possible workaround:
Go to this website, and download and install NI Vision 8.0.

This module will install as a trial version for 30 days, if you do not have a serial number, which you won't. Once this module is on your computer, you will be able to install NI-IMAQ for USB. You will also receive all of the functionality of the Vision Development for 30 days, and then you will not be able to use it anymore. However, the NI-IMAQ for USB driver will still maintain full functionality.
Having said all this, I should let you know that although we have some documentation on NI IMAQ for USB, it is not officially supported by NI. I would suggest using IMAQdx, which now officially supports USB cameras that are DirectShow compliant.

Thanks for replying.
I have already installed both of them the LabView and the vision Development Module. All i need is the driver which unfortunally does not work. I tried doing what you said but still no luck. Any other suggestions?
Thanks.
