niSwitch Disconnect All Channels.vi ERR Driver Status: Hex 0xBFFA1190 The session handle is not valid.

Hello

I am trying to run a vi called NiSwitch Disconnect All Channels.vi from the niSwitch.LLB.  Currently, I am running on our PXI-2593 MUX card with the chasis.  Seems like I cannot find a reason why the MUX card won't disconnect all channels.  I do not here a "click" sound from the MUX card when the vi is ran.  Usually, I can hear it when the channels in the MUX card switch.  The error message tell sme  the session handle is not valid.  My current  "instrument handle"  within the vi has scrolled down options of DEV2 DEV3 DEV4 DEV6 DEV8 as well as LPT1, COM1 and several others with prefix of PXI::.  I have been running my other programs using DEV2 DEV3 and DEV4 without any problem.  These 3 locations are the locations on my MUX card.  DEV was assigned from the NIDAQ.

So just that the program won't run this vi provided by NI.  Is there anyway to make it run correctly so I can disconnect all the channels for the MUX card PXI-2593?

below is the error message.

thanks.

Hi,

Most switches in multiplexer mode have to have some sort of connection even if you disconnect all channels. I have not had a chance to test this but I this should be expected behavior.

Let me test this I'll post back.
