Did you mean:

no file found installer

I create with the installer a setup.exe. When I  let it run, I can choose the directory where I can save the application and the runtime.  When I continue I get a error message that file is not found. But there is no description what there is missing. I created a log file but I have some problems to understand it. Is theree a way that I can see where the problem is?

Kind regards Reto

Hello halo,
did you include the LV runtime by checking the appropriate checkbox in the "additional installers"- section? Do you have administrator privileges on the computer? But I must admit, this seems rather weird to me.

I have administration rights and of course I included the Runtime engine. Where can I see which modules I have to include there. I  take as example the  waveform storage and the visa4.0. How can I check it.
The attached log file on my first mail is not helpful to analyze the problem?

Sorry, I didn't really understand what the log file says. And for the additional installers I think you have to dig through the online help or do it with trial & error.

Hi halo,

first can you please tell which LabVIEW version you are using and perhaps show me a screen shot with the text of the error massage.

See the video how to build an exe-file ftp://ftp.ni.com/outgoing/build_specification.wmv and tell me, if you did every thing like it is shown there!

Becarefull you don't have the used RT-target so you don't have to enter anything in the 'Dynamic VIs and SUpport Files' field, only in the field above, put in your VI there.
