iwl,

Does your device comply with  the VXI-11 LAN specification? That could be the reason it is not finding it, but you can still communicate with it if you know what port your device is on. Here is a Knowledge Base Article that will walk you through recognizing your instrument in MAX.

Knowledge Base: How do I Configure  an Instrument to Communicate Via TCP/IP in MAX?

Hi Good morning

I have the same issue, setting up a communication in MAX.

I am trying to communicate via Ethernet with PM6000 power analyser.I have the problem with VXI-11 LAN setup. Also i tried to enter manually the IP address and in the LAN device field i entered the device name but got the error message.

Please give me suggestions on how to setup the Ethernet communication for this Power analyser.

Thanks

Have you solved your problems? I have same issue as yours. I tried to control Voltecg PM6000. via ethernet. If yes, would you please let me know the solution?

Thanks in advance.
